Welcome to the CPD Course on Project-Based Learning in Agriculture (PjAT)
The Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Agriculture (PAT) CPD course is designed to empower Agriculture teachers in Uganda’s secondary schools. It provides a dynamic, practical, and gender-responsive framework for integrating Project-Based Learning into classrooms, specifically aligned with Uganda's Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC).
This course equips educators with the tools to effectively teach agriculture while fostering students' practical skills. In line with Uganda’s National Teacher Policy (2019), it prepares teachers to tackle real-world agricultural challenges. Participants will learn how to implement PBL strategies that enhance students' critical thinking, practical, and transferable skills, preparing them for youth economic opportunities in the agrifood sector.
